Lee is Chief Technology Officer for CubeLogic, driving technology innovation and product strategy for the RiskCube products. Prior to Co-Founding CubeLogic he was Product Strategy Director for energycredit, an credit risk platform for the energy industry. Lee has led successful Risk projects for tier one companies such as Shell, EON, Mercuria, Statoil, and Centrica. Previously Lee also helped Barclays Capital build a full Basel II compliant Risk platform. Mark Wilcock is a Risk IT consultant at Nomura. Over the last few years, his team have built successful cubes used by market risk managers across both equity and fixed income asset classes.
He has fifteen years of experience in building cube and reporting applications and applications primarily in risk management but also in FX trading, treasury, repo trading, MIS systems for finance and private banking.
Chris Mudry, Chief Risk Officer at Mercuria
Chris Mudry is the Group Chief Risk Manager and managing director of Mercuria Energy Trading BV.
A Swiss citizen, Chris has 16 years of experience in the energy industry. He started his career as an oil trader for Cargill in Geneva and then Dusseldorf for 3 years. Chris then worked at Petroplus in Rotterdam for 7 years as traders of the middle distillate portfolios and later on the derivatives refinery margin hedging books, before joining the Petroplus risk and corporate projects team.
He joined Mercuria at its creation in 2004 and has since then been in charge of the back office and risk/middle officers, a total of about 65 persons.
Chris and his team are responsible for back office of derivatives, establishing trading processes, controls, adherence to trading limits, daily reporting of entire group risk/P&L exposure and VaR monitoring.
Chris holds an MBA of Nyenrode University (NL) and a University Master of High International Studies of Geneva, with specialization in International Economics and Finance.
